Citibank Korea Inc, Temporary Suspension of Services for System enhancement Scheduled on the Second Weekend of May.
SEOUL--(Korea Newswire) April 12, 2012 -- Citibank Korea Inc. (CEO Ha, Yung-ku, www.citibank.co.kr) announced that some of its financial transactions such as Internet banking, Mobile banking, Check cards and ATMs, and overseas transactions will be temporarily unavailable during the system enhancement between May 11th, 2012, 23:00 (Fri) to May 14th, 2012, 06:00 (Mon).
Services unavailable during the entire enhancement period (55 hrs, May 11th, 23:00 - May 14th, 06:00) are: ▷ All services on CD/ATM ▷ All services on Internet / Mobile & Phone banking ▷ Purchase of goods using check card (local & overseas) ▷ Overseas ICC transaction ▷ Deposit transaction from other Bank to Citibank account.
Services unavailable for 20 hours between Saturday, May 12, 21:00 and Sunday, May 13, 16:30 are: ▷ On-line purchase using credit card (Card safety service) ▷ Cash advance service on alliance ATM. All SMSs on credit card authorization created during the period will be sent together after Sunday, May 13th, 16:30.
Services available throughout the period are: ▷ Credit card purchase ▷ Varied incident reporting / Inquiry of manager’s check through call center.
A Citibank Korea official advised the customers to prepare accordingly and make necessary arrangements for the weekend before Friday, May 11th, 23:00. “The new system environment will provide even better customer service by accommodating after-hour & holiday transactions for accounts opening / closing, loan/interest payments, currency exchanges and so on via Internet banking, and by cutting down customer wait times. We will continue to strive to offer better services for our valued customers,” he added.
