About 100 GM marketing, sales and aftersales personnel and GM dealers from around the world participated. They included Susan Docherty, President of Chevrolet Europe, and Mark Barnes, GM International Operations Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.
GM Korea introduced its products and export plans. In addition, participants had the opportunity to experience upcoming products as well as test drive the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo, Cruze and Malibu.
GM Korea exports vehicles to more than 150 countries. It is developing Chevrolet’s next-generation global mini and small cars. The response of attendees from places where Chevrolet is enjoying strong growth, such as the U.S., Europe, China, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, was very positive.
“In 2012, Chevrolet is beginning its second century globally and its second year in Korea,” said GM Korea President and CEO Sergio Rocha. “Strengthening partnerships with GM team members from the overseas export markets is crucial for our sustained success in global markets.”

Our conference provided an exciting forum to offer our sales, aftersales and marketing partners around the world the opportunity to get to know our products first-hand,” said GM Korea Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing Ankush Arora. “GM Korea remains focused on ensuring excellent service throughout the entire process – from placing orders to deliveries – in order to increase sales of our outstanding products.”
GM Korea has held its Global Product Conference every other year since 2004. It is enabling GM Korea to promote the competitiveness of its products and help GM’s global team members decide which models to offer in their respective countries and regions.
