SkyCross now qualified in China by Oppo
Huawei demonstrates SkyCross iMAT antenna contributes to world’s fastest LTE performance
SAN JOSE, CALIF.--(Business Wire/Korea Newswire) March 8, 2016 -- SkyCross, a global leader in design and manufacture of advanced RF solutions, has been qualified in China by Oppo as its antenna supplier, with its first project beginning in 2016.
This follows on the heels of SkyCross’s contribution to the tests newly run by TeliaSonera Norway and Huawei, who announced the world’s fastest LTE Advanced Pro (4.5G) mobile network over a live commercial network in Oslo, Norway. SkyCross provided its 4x4 MIMO LTE antenna using its unique iMAT technology for the demonstration, which used four frequency bands simultaneously - 800MHz, 1,800MHz, 2,2100MHz and 2,600MHz to produce the fastest throughput speeds obtained to date on a live commercial 4.5G network, hitting speeds of 1Gps in Oslo.
