Green Building Initiative(GBI, Inc.)는 건축 환경이 기후와 사회에 미치는 영향을 개선하는 것을 사명으로 하는 국제 비영리단체이자 미국국가표준협회(ANSI) 인증 표준 개발 기관이다. 2004년에 설립된 GBI는 Green Globes®, Journey to Net Zero™, Guiding Principles Compliance™, Ascent Building Certification™ 프로그램의 글로벌 운영 기관이며, GB Initiative Canada의 모회사이기도 하다. 또한 GBI는 Green Globes Professional(GGP), Guiding Principles Compliance Professional(GPCP) 등 전문 자격 인증도 발급하고 있다.
