Proven in Korea since October 2024, the program that turns at-home facial devices into a guided, measured routine is now available in Mexico and Venezuela, where no care plan reaches a patient without a healthcare professional’s approval

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--(Korea Newswire)--KARA Clinical Global, the Seoul-based at-home skincare technology company, today announced that the KARA Clinical Transformation Program (KCTP) is now available in Latin America. Launched in Korea in October 2024, where it has grown to more than 20,000 active subscribers, the program arrives first in Mexico and Venezuela, where KARA Clinical operates through its partner MiDoctor24h, and will expand to further markets in the region.

A problem that travels well

The problem KCTP was built to solve is not Korean; it is universal. Around the world, people buy at-home skincare devices with real expectations and follow them for a few weeks. Then the routine slips, nobody checks in, nobody measures, and the device ends up in a drawer. The technology keeps improving, but the results rarely follow, because a device on its own is not a method.

KARA Clinical was founded in Seoul on that observation. Its co-founders, Seo Min-Jae, whose career spans product innovation and strategic execution, and Ji A, whose background is in facial technology and aesthetic systems, concluded that what people needed was not another device, but a system around it: a plan built for their skin, a professional who follows up, and a consistent way to see whether it is working. In Korea, that system has become KCTP, and 20,000 people now renew it every month.

“Korea taught the world that skincare is a discipline, not a purchase. With KCTP we are exporting the discipline, not only the device. Working with our partner MiDoctor24h in Mexico and Venezuela lets us hold every market to the same standard we hold in Seoul, and that is what makes it possible to keep growing across the region,” said Seo Min-Jae, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of KARA Clinical.

What KCTP is

KCTP is a clinical skincare program that combines KARA Clinical’s home-use devices with a digital platform, artificial intelligence and professional oversight. It rests on a principle at the heart of Korean skincare: skin responds to the right stimulus, repeated consistently over time. KCTP therefore does not sell another gadget. It delivers a plan with dates, steps and checkpoints. In Latin America it runs as a 90-day program; in Korea, the same program continues as a monthly subscription.

How it works

· Initial assessment: the patient gives consent, explains her goals and completes an adaptive questionnaire.
· Guided photos: the platform guides her to take facial photos under comparable conditions.
· AI pre-analysis: artificial intelligence organizes the information and drafts a proposal that the patient never sees.
· Professional review: a healthcare professional reviews the case, makes the decisions and approves the plan, with a video consultation when needed.
· Personalized routine: the patient receives her plan, with care steps, recommendations and a schedule for her KARA Clinical devices.
· Follow-up in 30-day cycles: each cycle includes a mid-point check-in and a new measurement at its close, so progress is compared with data, not memory.

The underlying rule is simple: artificial intelligence gathers and suggests; the professional decides.

“We wanted to close the gap between buying a device and seeing sustained results. Technology helps us organize information and miss nothing, but clinical judgment remains human. Every protocol in the program went through medical review, and every plan is approved by a professional before it reaches the patient,” said Dr. Heewon Suh, Chief Medical Officer of KARA Clinical.

Built on clinical evidence

KARA Clinical’s devices are supported by four randomized controlled trials with a combined 840 participants. The clinical rules that drive the program’s protocol engine, including device combinations, timing and frequency, were approved by Dr. Suh and are the same in Seoul, Mexico and Venezuela. Each patient has a clinical record with her answers, photos, professional decisions and completed sessions, so the professional sees the full evolution rather than an isolated visit.

Who it is for

The program is designed for women aged 25 to 55 who use, or want to use, KARA Clinical devices at home: the Auren and Auren Pro LED masks, the Oxy Pro high-frequency device and the RFusion Pro radiofrequency device, recommended from age 30. Anyone curious about where to start can first take KARA Clinical’s free AI skin analysis, now available in English and Spanish.

“We designed the program to feel like being accompanied, not monitored. Every step, from the first photo to the 30-day check-in, has to be simple enough to do at home in the evening and personal enough that she knows someone is truly looking at her skin. Because someone is,” said Ji A, Co-Founder and Creative Director of KARA Clinical.

An ecosystem, not a single launch

KCTP arrives in Latin America together with the rest of the KARA Clinical ecosystem. The KARA Clinical Ambassador Network (KCAN), which has more than 800 members in Korea, has also started operating in Mexico and Venezuela, connecting aesthetic physicians, cosmetologists and trained ambassadors under the same clinical standard.
