Three smartphone photos and seven questions deliver a zone-by-zone reading of eight skin concerns in about 90 seconds, with a real second measurement 30 days later instead of a simulated “after” image

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--(Korea Newswire)--KARA Clinical Global, the Seoul-based at-home skincare technology company, today launched a global version of its AI skin analysis in English and Spanish. Since February 2026, the free tool has completed more than 130,000 analyses in Korea. Now anyone with a smartphone, anywhere in the world, can turn three photos into a zone-by-zone map of their skin and measure again 30 days later against exactly the same criteria.

Is my skin actually improving?

It is the question almost everyone asks in front of the mirror, and one of the hardest to answer honestly. Lighting changes, memory is unreliable, and a single photo says very little on its own. Many people spend months on a routine without ever knowing whether it is working.

The tools that promise to answer that question often fall short. Many deliver a single reading and stop there. Some charge for it and take days. Others show a simulated “after” image of skin that does not exist. KARA Clinical went the other way: an instant reading, free of charge, that can be repeated and compared.

The analysis was born inside KARA Clinical’s own clinical work in Korea. The company’s KARA Clinical Transformation Program (KCTP), launched in October 2024 and now followed by more than 20,000 active subscribers, depends on measuring the skin the same way every month. The team turned that discipline into a free tool anyone could use, and launched it in Korea in February 2026. In under eight months it passed 130,000 analyses, an average of more than 500 a day.

“Most skin tools give you an impression. We built ours to measure the same way twice: the same eight criteria, the same zones, the same scale. Without consistency there is no progress to show, only a new opinion. That standard has carried more than 130,000 analyses in Korea, and it is exactly what we are now opening to the world,” said Seo Min-Jae, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of KARA Clinical.

How it works

· Seven questions about habits, skin type and goals.
· Three guided photos: front, left profile and right profile.
· A zone-based reading: a 478-point facial mesh places each finding on its area of the face.
· Results in about 90 seconds, with a downloadable report and a suggested routine.
· A new measurement after 30 days using the same eight criteria. The “after” is a real second reading, not a simulated image.

What it measures

Texture, pores, lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, redness, blemishes and breakouts, tone evenness and dark circles. Each receives one of four levels. When an area is not clearly visible in a photo, it is marked “not assessable” instead of being guessed.

How it compares

· Price: many tools in the category are paid; KARA Clinical’s analysis is free, with no sign-up and no credit card.
· Wait: hours to days elsewhere; about 90 seconds with KARA Clinical.
· Follow-up: usually a single reading; KARA Clinical offers a new measurement after 30 days.
· The “after”: often a simulated image; KARA Clinical delivers a real second measurement.

“We wanted three photos and seven questions to feel like a conversation, not a test. The experience has to be calm, clear and honest, in any language. When the camera cannot see an area well, the tool says so rather than inventing an answer. That honesty is part of how the experience should feel,” said Ji A, Co-Founder and Creative Director of KARA Clinical.

Proven in Korea, open to the world

The analysis works on any smartphone with a camera. With the English and Spanish versions, it reaches users worldwide, including Latin America, where KARA Clinical operates through its partner MiDoctor24h, with presence in Mexico and Venezuela. There, the reading can also be the first step into KCTP, which turns it into a care plan approved by a healthcare professional and built around home-use KARA Clinical devices such as the Auren and Auren Pro LED masks, the RFusion Pro and the Oxy Pro, which are supported by four randomized controlled trials.
