James W. Kim, President and CEO of online search marketing company Overture Korea
Since becoming President and CEO of Overture Korea in February 2005, Mr. Kim has led Overture Korea to more than double sales, profitability and employee productivity in just twelve months while driving aggressive topline growth. Under Mr. Kim's leadership, Overture Korea has become the standard-bearer of online search marketing in Korea.
In his new role, Mr. Kim will oversee Overture operations in Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He will remain based in Seoul.
Mr. Kim, a Korean American, received a BA in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Harvard University. Mr. Kim has served on numerous Boards including Young Presidents?Organization (an international organization of Presidents), Send A Frame, Inc. (E-Commerce company), Capital IQ (a wholly owned division of McGraw Hill); Charles Flora Consumer Products, LLC (owner of Lavoris mouthwash) and TriState Ventures, LLC (consortium of high net worth investors). Mr. Kim is also a frequent speaker at numerous conferences and seminars.
