SoftRun Integrates Inciter with Microsoft NAP(Network Access Protection)
Network Access Protection, a platform for Microsoft Windows Server "Longhorn" and Windows Vista, simplifies the process of ensuring that as users connect to corporate systems and data, their devices are healthy. NAP provides policy enforcement components that help ensure that computers connecting to a network or communicating on a network meet administrator-defined requirements for system health.
Microsoft provides an infrastructure and an application programming interface (API) set for extending NAP functionality. Client security, patch management, networking, and system integration.vendors use the API set to build their own network policy validation, ongoing network policy compliance, and network isolation components that are compatible with Network Access Protection.
“As the leading PMS vendor in Korea, we are excited to collaborate with Microsoft. Integrating Inciter, and NAP will further help our broad client base of IT customers keep their corporate network safer,” said Andy Hwang, CEO of SoftRun, Inc., “We look forward to working with Microsoft more broadly, building on our current joint efforts to deliver Windows security updates to Internet users via the large Korean on-line game and portal sites, such as NCSoft and NHN.”
