At IFA 2006, visitors will be able to see and experience a true “Digital Home Interior” for the first time, where they can find Samsung’s visually satisfying and elegant products harmonized and fit perfectly into the European trend and lifestyle concepts.
Samsung offers four different European home interior concepts to reflect various design identities based on unique European lifestyles. Based on its four European-based interior concepts, including Scandinavian and Mediterranean focused ones, Samsung’s display shows a harmonious fit between the latest digital products of Samsung and various European home designs.
For this project, Samsung has worked with leading European furniture companies and interior agency such as Fritz Hansen of Denmark, and Poliform and Gervasoni of Italy and Tillberg Design of Sweden
<Four Different Trends and Lifestyle Concepts>
· Scandinavian Lifestyle
The design style is inspired by current trends in Scandinavian design with solid primary colours like natural woods and contrasting black elements.
Samsung’s new FilterBright™ Plasma TV, with its new floor standing design home theatre system, will easily integrate with the interior of a Scandinavian styled home.
· Mediterranean Lifestyle
The atmosphere is a cross between Mediterranean modernity and rustic summer living.
Both Samsung’s DLP™ TV, with its home theatre system and beautifully streamed LCD TV will reflect a Mediterranean-type bright and peaceful lifestyle.
· Contemporary European Trend
This is a space for the young and tech-savvy singles or couples living in fashionable and trendy neighborhoods.
The world’s first Blu-ray DVD Player and stylish designed LCD TV will be displayed to deliver life-like images with Full HD 1080p resolution.
· Oriental Trend
Traditional and ancient culture meet high-end technology in a startling setting.
