Entertainment, Games and Celebrities at the Samsung Booth during the World Cyber Games
From October 18th Samsung, the Worldwide Sponsor of the World Cyber Games, will hold several events open to all consumers and visitors who will visit the Samsung booth, open each day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The latest Samsung products will be showcased at the booth, where will be the showroom of the event displaying most innovative technology. Among some of the products to be shown, LCD TVs that will broadcast the various cyber challenges live, several laptops, the ultimate mobile phones and printers that all the visitors can use instantly in order to print immediately the pictures just taken.
Moreover, each day consumers will be able to take part in the Samsung Football Challenge: visitors can take part in a football game in which the speed of the kick is accurately measured. The fastest kicker will have the chance to win an Ultra Mobile phone or an Mp3 Player. Near this area, games fans will also find the “Carom 3D Promotion Area”, where it will be possible to play billiard on the computer. Each day there will be a Championship Competition and all the visitors will have the chance to learn how to play thanks to a trial performance.
On Friday 20th, all the journalists that will come and visit the Samsung booth and will have the chance to challenge each other with “Carom 3D,” an online billiard game, experiencing the emotion and the atmosphere of the Olympic Games of the videogames.
On Saturday 21st, Samsung will host the most exciting event of the weekend, the Samsung VIP Challenge. On the Paddock stage, famous Italian showgirl and radio host Maddalena Corvaglia, will challenge two lucky consumers chosen randomly among the crowd, at a game of Dead or Alive 4, one of the 8 official WCG games. The winner will have not only the honor to play with the beautiful showgirl, but will also win a K5, the new signature MP3 player of Samsung. At the end of the match Maddalena will be available to sign some autographs for all the visitors attending the challenge.
During the entire five days of the event, the Samsung booth will also host the football free-styler Billy Wingrove; Billy has been working as a “professional” football free-styler since reaching the semi-finals of the Nike Freestyle event in London in 2002. He will perform five times a day for the fun and joy of all visitors.
