Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Ltd, celebrated on 26th November the opening of Desalination R&D center which was held in Dubai and attended by more than 100 distinguished guests including Koussai Quteishat, Head of The Middle East Desalination Research Center, Joon Jae Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to UAE, members of Power and Water Ministry in the Middle East and the President of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Ltd, etc.
Newly opened Desalination R&D center is the first overseas R&D center of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Ltd; as well as of Doosan Group and will be equipped with state-of-art R&D devices and instruments by investing more than USD 2 million and will be organized with about 30 R&D members including special researchers from abroad
Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction aims to endeavor in Desalination R&D center many important areas of development such as more efficient and ultra large scale MSF (Multi Stage Flash) technology, medium & large sized MED (Multi Effect Distillation) technology, next generation hybrid desalination technology, new desalination technology, etc. and also has plans to be grown as marching base for the sales and marketing of Desalination Plant and Water Treatment Plant.
