Consultations between Foreign Ministers of the ROK and Russia over the phone
The two ministers had consultations on the North Korean nuclear issue including recent developments and measures for the next Six-Party Talks. They agreed to maintain close consultations between the ROK and Russia in order to draw out a substantial agreement on measures for the initial stage of the implementation of the September 19 Joint Statement at the upcoming talks, and for the overall implementation of the September 19 Joint Statement in the long run as well.
Minister Song agreed to visit Russia sometime soon and hold the ROK-Russia Foreign Ministers' Talks.
