Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Defense of Malaysia to Visit Korea

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Mohammed Najib bin Tun Haji Rajak will visit Korea from March 8 to 13, by the invitation of the Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Najib’s itinerary in Korea will include a courtesy call at a dinner for the President and Prime Minister as well as a meeting with the Minister of Science and Technology and the Minister of National Defense to discuss possible ways of strengthening Korea-Malaysia ties.

Deputy Prime Minister Najib will attend a luncheon with members of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support economic ties between businesses in Korea and Malaysia. He will then visit the Seoul Animation Center to support collaboration of developing cultural contents between the two countries and will also be visiting Busan and Jeju Island.

Deputy Prime Minister Najib currently serves as the Deputy President of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO), the largest political party in Malaysia. He will be accompanied by his wife, the Minister of Human Resources, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, and five members of the upper and lower house of the Malaysian parliament.
