Samsung Launches Second Generation UMPC, the Q1Ultra
Centred on mobility and functionality, the Q1Ultra is one of the smallest and lightest computers available. Weighing only 690g and less than 23.9mm deep the Q1Ultra comfortably fits in the palm of your hand, but still offers the communications, entertainment and performance functionality of a conventional notebook PC.
As well as running Microsoft Windows? Vista™ Home Premium, the Q1Ultra features a Super Bright 7” WSVGA (1024x600 and 300 nit brightness) LCD monitor, so it can be used on the move or connected to any monitor and the full screen displayed with perfect resolution. You can even add touch screen functionality for extra convenience when multitasking and its fully integrated QWERTY keypad ensures access to office applications, email and presentations is easier than ever.
With over 30% more power, the Q1Ultra’s improved battery life means you can keep working longer - up to 3.5 hours on the standard 4 cell battery or over 6 hours on the extended 6 cell battery. In addition, the Q1Ultra features the latest communication technologies, including 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11b/g wireless LAN, HSDPA/WiBRO and Bluetooth 2.0, so you can connect to the Internet or share information wherever you are. The Q1Ultra can even make sure you get to your destination quickly and safely with its optional GPS Navigation Package for the car.
Furthermore, the Q1Ultra offers exceptional security and multimedia functionality with a choice of options. With Digital Multimedia Broadcasts (DMB)* you can access live television and audio channels anywhere for instant entertainment. The Q1Ultra’s dual camera capability offers a convenient way to take business or personal pictures and stay in touch with colleagues, friends or family using video-conferencing or live messaging. And for extra peace of mind, the Q1Ultra’s secure fingerprint recognition feature will ensure that your valuable information remains safe from prying eyes and enhance convenience by password banking of fingerprint.
