InBev, to Produce European Beer at Oriental Brewery
Oranjeboom dates back to 1528. The brand stands for pleasing, thirst-quenching beers of the best quality, with an honest, unpretentious character.
Oriental Brewery said it plans to produce the Oranjeboom at its Kwangju brewery in Kwangju city of Jeonranam-do from coming April and the initial production volume will reach at 100KHL per year. Also the beer will be exported to various markets in the Asia Pacific region through InBev sales network.
Patrice J. Thys, CEO of Oriental Brewery and President Asia Pacific zone at InBev, said “the production of Oranjeboom in Korea means the world’s largest brewer-InBev’s sincere commitment and support to the country and to Oriental Brewery”; and he said “I believe Oriental Brewery’s world-class production capability and technology will surely play a great role helping InBev’s business operation in the Asia Pacific region.
