Outcomes of the Working-level Meeting for the Provision of Equipment and Materials Regarding the Implementation of the Second-Phase Actions
In this agreement, Korea agreed to start the first provision of the equipment and materials within this year, and they will in principle be sent through international bidding.
This agreement is the first one to be made on the modalities and contents of the provision of equipment and materials to the DPRK equivalent to 500,000 tons of heavy fuel oil. It is expected that this agreement will contribute to making headway in the second phase of the economic and energy cooperation process.
