Exchange Visits of Korea and ASEAN Government Officials and Media People
32 journalists from 10 ASEAN Member States will visit Korea from December 2 to 8, 2007, and visit relevant organizations such as the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Water Resources Corporation and relevant facilities such as the nuclear power plant in Uljin and the Daecheong Dam under the theme of "Protection of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development".
32 government officials from 10 ASEAN Member States will also visit Korea from December 9 to 15, and visit relevant organizations and cultural sites such as the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies of Seoul National University, the National Museum of Korea and Gyeongju under the theme of "Preservation and Promotion of Cultural Heritage".
As part of the aforementioned project, 12 Korean government officials visited Thailand and Cambodia from October 9 to 15, 2006, and 12 Korean journalists visited Laos and Viet Nam from February 25 to March 3, 2007.
