Seminar on Korea’s Mid- to Long-Term Trade and Economic Strategy to be Held

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) will co-organize a policy seminar on the topic: Korea’s Mid- to Long-Term Trade and Economic Strategy for the World: Finding a New Direction. It will be held on February 4th, at the Seoul Plaza Hotel.
This seminar will be based on a recent KIEP report entitled “Korea’s Mid- to Long-Term Economic Strategy for the World.” The researchers who participated in drafting the publication will present on various subjects. These presentations are to be followed by debates among experts from the government, academic institutions, and the press.

Seminar Sub-topics: (1) Expansion of overseas markets and enhancement of overseas investment
(2) Systematic implementation of development cooperation (3) Strengthening energy security and international environmental cooperation

This event is being held in order to evaluate expert opinions on Korea’s region-specific trade and economic strategies in line with the vision of an “Advanced Trading Nation.” The seminar will offer an opportunity to draw policy implications regarding key trade and economic issues.
