Minister to Visit China

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Yu Myung-hwan will visit China at the invitation of Yang Jiechi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China from March 20 to 22.

During the visit, Minister Yu will have bilateral talks with Yang Jiechi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and meet with Hu Jintao, the Chinese President, and Tang Jiaxuan, the State Minister in charge of diplomatic relations and Wang Jiarui, the Head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communists Party, respectively.

It is the first visit abroad after Minister Yu took office. Minister Yu will have extensive discussions on the development of Korea-China relationship under the new administration and other majors issues including North Korean nuclear issue, regional situation and bilateral cooperation on the global stage.

Minister Yu will also meet with Korean entrepreneurs in China to hear about the difficulties they face and exchange views on how to support Korean corporations in China.
