Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Stuttgart Sports Cars Ltd., the Official Importer of Porsche in Korea, announces strong growth in the first half of 2008 with 264 total registrations representing a 58% growth compared to the same period in 2007. Furthermore, with the addition of Porsche Centre Bundang, Porsche ex-pands it dealer network to four nationwide. Additional two Porsche Centre’s are planned to be added by the end of 2009 - just in time for the long expected arrival of the brand new 4th model line - the Porsche Panamera.

The Porsche Cayenne continues its growth and success in Korea. With 144 total registrations in the first half of 2008, the Cayenne model range continues its increasing popularity. The Cayenne is the best performance SUV in the market offering the most comprehensive SUV model line which includes Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, Cayenne Turbo and the new 550hp Cayenne Turbo S.

Among the sports cars, the 911 model range and the Boxster/Cayman models, registered 120 ve-hicles in the first half of 2008 recording a growth of 33% compared to the same period in 2007. Porsche continues its lead position in the market as true Sports Car Manufacturer and with the in-troduction of the new 911, just recently launched for the first time in the Asia Pacific region, Porsche is positioned to continue its leadership in the market.

Facilitating the future growth of Porsche in Korea, Porsche completed construction on its fourth dealership in Bundang. Porsche Centre Bundang is the largest Porsche Centre in Korea and a full 3S facility with Showroom, Service and Spare Parts. The new service centre in Bundang facilitates ten work bays with a daily capacity to service 30 cars and includes a full Body and Paint shop for Porsche vehicles. Porsche Centre Bundang, operational from July 2008, will increase and enhance Porsche’s service capabilities in Korea and will facilitate Porsche growth in Korea.

Overall, Porsche is on track to meeting its target of 450 new car registrations in 2008. Furthermore, with the addition of Porsche Centre Bundang, Porsche is well positioned to achieve its long term objective of 1000 cars by 2010.
