Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Stuttgart Sports Cars Ltd., the Official Porsche Importer and Distributor in Korea, introduced the new 911 on September 6, 2008 to the public at Porsche Centre Bundang. 400 guests in attendance applauded the introduction and welcoming the arrival of the new 911 model in Korea.

The arrival of the new 911 has been much anticipated in Korea as guests were eager to see for the first time the New 911 model with PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung or Double Clutch) and the newly developed DFI (Direct Fuel Injection) engine. Two new technologies introduced by Porsche which significantly increases performance and fuel efficiency.

The new 911 is off to a fast start as the initial demand for the new model has been impressive. Since the national Media launch of the 911 on July 22nd, Porsche enthusiasts and customers have enquired about the new model. More than 30 customers have already placed orders to take delivery of the new 911 before the official nationwide dealer launch on 26th September 2008. Mr. Christer Ekberg, Managing Director at Porsche Asia Pacific, was surprised at the high demand for the 911 in Korea and expressed “It’s absolutely fantastic! It’s amazing to see so many orders for the 911 before the official launch. It’s great seeing such confidence and loyalty Korean customers have towards Porsche. I’m confident new 911 will be a great success in Korea”.

The New 2009 911 models are available now at local Porsche Centres in Korea with prices ranging from 121,170,000 KRW to 158,200,000 KRW.
