Citibank Korea implements “Citi Card Overseas Travel” event for winter travelers

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea (CEO Yung-Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) is to implement a preferential FX rate promotion and air ticket discount event for Citi Card customers.

If a Citi Card (including BC Card but corporate card) customer signs up at Citibank branch or the bank’s web site by Feb 28, 2009 and spend min $300, benchmark FX rate of 990KRW/USD will be applied to $10 spending.

The preferential rate will be applied to max $1,000 of spending for a total of 100 card holders selected via lucky draw.

Celebrating the Visa-free visit to the states, Citi Card in partnership with American Airline offers all Citi Card members purchasing air ticket to the states with Citi Card 50% discount on Business Class and 5% Student discount from January 1, 2009 to March 31, 2009 in terms of boarding date.(Reservation/question: American Airline 02-319-3401)

Also, card holders spending $600 or more with Citi Card at Shilla Duty Free Shop Seoul Branch will receive Lenox Butterfly Monarch Plate from December 12.
