Common Declaration by the Mayor of Seoul and Prague
On the occasion of the visit of Mayor of Seoul, Lee, Myung Bak, to the City of Prague by the invitation of Mayor of the City of Prague, Pavel Bém, both sides, based on the existing amity between the two countries, desire to enhance cooperation in the areas of economy, culture and tourism according to the following:
1. Both cities, in order to achieve a better understanding of each other's culture, shall share information and know-how on major cultural policies and cultural facilities.
2. Both cities shall promote tourism in the other city.
3. Both cities agree to share information on investment environments and agree to dispatch business delegations to the other city in order to promote local economic growth.
The declaration is produced in authentic duplication in English, signed by Mayor of Seoul and Mayor of Prague on the 29th of March, 2005 and is officially effective upon its signing.
