Social Program Action and Research in Korea holds foundation commemoration ceremony for the “new factory”

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Sooda Factory, which was established last October by joined forces of Social Program Action and Research in Korea (SPARK; President, Jeon, Soon-Ok), Citibank Korea Inc. (CKI; CEO, Ha, Yung-Ku) and Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU; President, Jang, Seok-Chun), had a foundation commemoration ceremony.

Sooda Factory acquires quality of life enhancement, eco-friendly production, and rational profit distribution as their motto. Sooda Factory has been authorized by the government as social enterprise and supplied uniforms for Estarjet Inc, Hyundai Motors Inc, Kyobo Life Insurance Inc, and Jeje Fashion Inc. Also, Sooda Factory manufactures and sells clothing made with eco-friendly fabric dyed with natural stain, and they even merchandise student clothing through G-market.

The 3-stories Sooda Factory building consists of a pleasant and comfortable sewing workshop, a design center and an apparel show room. The facility will also function as a market of clothing that is produced at the same building by more than 20 designers with 20 to 30 years of experience who graduated from SPARK’s Dongdaemoon Dressmaking Specialist Training School, “Soodagongbang.”
