Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Samsung Electronics, the International Association of Athletic Federation’s (IAAF) worldwide partner for Mobile Telecommunications Hardware, Audio Visual Equipment, Cameras and Household Appliances, unveiled its Samsung Digital Gallery today, giving fans of the IAAF World Championships an exciting look at the latest in Samsung technology and products.

Present at the Digital Gallery’s Opening Ceremony were: Mr. Sang Heung Shin, President & CEO of Samsung Electronics Europe HQ; Mr. Lamine Diack, IAAF President IAAF; Dr. Clemens Prokop, Executive President, Berlin Organising Committee and Mr. Allen Johnson, Olympic Gold Medalist in 110m hurdles in 1996 Atlanta

“Samsung is thrilled to present the Samsung Digital Gallery for the enjoyment of all spectators of the IAAF World Championships in Berlin, and our aim is to bring some of the excitement from the stadium into our gallery,” said Mr. SH Shin, President, Samsung Electronics Europe. “These World Championships are an excellent opportunity for Samsung to illustrate our passion for excellence in our products and exhibit how that same passion sets apart these marvelous athletes.”

“As a valued worldwide partner of the IAAF, Samsung and the Digital Gallery are helping make this competition a celebration of the world-class gathering of athletes, fans, media and other supporters,” said Mr. Lamine Diack, IAAF President.

The Samsung Digital Gallery, located in the Market Square adjacent to Berlin Olympic Stadium where the World Championships are being held through August 15 to 23, will present cutting-edge Samsung cell phone, digital camera and LED TV technology in an interactive and entertaining setting for spectators and media. In addition to the pavilion’s high-tech exhibits, it also features a lounge and bar area where visitors can relax, experience Samsung products and enjoy the track & field action live on Samsung LED TVs.

The 400 sq. meter Digital Gallery consists of several different experiential areas where spectators and consumers can interact with the latest Samsung technology including Camcorders, LED TVs, Mobile Phones and other communications devices. The indoor lounge and bar will provide refreshments and relaxation for those in attendance, while the canopied outdoor area includes a stage and another visitor lounge.
