Citibank Korea reaches 100 Billion Won for 2, 3 year Time Deposit Sales in 6 Working Days

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea (CEO, Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) have reached the sales amount of 100 billion KRW within 6 business days, since they started offering special deposit rates for 2, 3 year time deposit(Product name: Free Style Time Deposit) on 12th Aug.

“ 2, 3 year Time Deposits are thought to be relatively a long-time deposit and this is a rare occasion that products are selling so quickly. Customers who are expecting the market rates to go up are taking this chance for exceptionally high rate even though this product has the long maturity.”, said the bank official.

The special rates are 5.5% (before tax) for 3 year TD, and 5.0% (before tax) for 2 year TD. Customers will be able to deposit from 1MM KRW and up. This product is available for retail customers, and until the total sales amount reaches the limit.
