Citibank Korea Inc. launches ‘ Very Smart A+’, a deposit with high interest rates available

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea Inc.(CEO Yung Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) will launch ‘ Very Smart A+ ’ a transactional account, on Aug 20, that provides high interest rate depending on deposit tenor. This product offers competitive rate that is as high as that of CMA, while maintaining current features of transactional account that allow free debit and credit such as account transfer, utility bill payment, card payment and etc.

The interest rate for ‘ Very Smart A+’ is ; ▷annual rate of 0.1%(before tax) for tenor of 1~30 days ▷4.2%(before tax) for tenor of 31+days. The applicable rate matching to the tenor is applied to daily final balance for each deposit transaction and after tax interest is deposited to customer account on the first business day in the third week of the month .

Also, if the account fulfills the condition of payroll transfer or the previous month’s average balance is 900+M won, various benefits are offered; ▶CKI ATM / ARS / Internet Banking /Mobile banking fee waiver ▶other bank’s ATM fee waiver (withdrawal 8 times/month , transfer 5 times /month) ▶Money exchange/ discount of remittance fee ▶waiver of diverse fees for basic transactions.

The target for this product is individuals with proper personal identification. One account can be opened per person at the branch and the minimum down payment is 10M won (For the case of customers who wishes to use this account for credit card and loan payments , or customers who are younger than 18 or older than 65 years wishes to utilize this product as a new household savings account, they are not subject to minimum down payment criteria.)
