Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--M&SOFT, which is leaping from Korea’s No. 1 navigation software company to the global LBS (Location based service) company, has finished developing its new version of the navigation software for the foreign countries ‘SpeedNavi Union’ and will be on Indian and the North American market from September.

‘SpeedNavi’, which is now on sale in Malaysian/Singapore, Australian, Chinese, Thai market, is used to use individual source to develop for each countries. For inputting new functions, it took time to apply into each countries, some countries were not applied new functions.

‘SpeedNavi Union’ minimized regional quality differences by using the united source through the server based digital map format and GUI development process. As a result, it is possible to apply a new function to the entire export countries product at the same time and lead time to apply is also improved. Moreover, it adds the personalized function as like ‘User Skin’ that users can use own picture to the wall paper on their navigation.

‘SpeedNavi’ provides the 3D Illustration Display which is made by M&SOFT, applies the ‘Intermediate Word Search’, ’15 levels Detailed Map Scale’ and ‘Theme DB’ such as Hotel, Restaurant, Garage, Gas station information, etc. Moreover, it offers multiple languages as like Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Malay, etc. so Koreans living abroad and even foreign travelers who travel with a rental car can use it easily.

M&SOFT is also expanding global Before Market through installing its navigation map in the automobiles of Hyundai-Kia Motors. At the same time, it is targeting the After Market providing the navigation software for export ‘SpeedNavi’ to national and international hardware companies such as Hyundai MOBIS, Mio Technology and Asus etc. M&SOFT recently signed a supplying navigation software contract with Alpine for the Asian Pacific region.
