Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea (CEO Yung-Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr ) launches a service that offers 100% discount on FX rate and remittance fee waiver to help parents of overseas students reduce their financial burden until Feb. 26th. The ongoing economic downturn and strong dollars have been putting pressure on those families.

The service will be available until the students abroad graduate from their schools based on the evidential documents submitted to the Bank. Once overseas student fulfills the related documentation, the remittance fee will be waived, and FX rate will be 100% discounted for money transfers, and cash exchanges.(up to $1,000 for cash)

Students who want to benefit from the service just have to designate Citibank Korea as their foreign exchange bank and open accounts of their own and the agent for remittance. Money transfer is made through the bank counters. Period for foreign exchange bank registration will last until Feb.26, 2009.
