Citi Financial Sales Korea starts business

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citi Financial Sales Korea, Inc. (CEO Cho, Sung-Kon) announced that it would start operations on Dec. 3 after four months of preparation.

Founded earlier in August 2009, Citi Financial Sales Korea(company specialized in the sales of financial products) aims to integrate dedicated sales forces of Citibank Korea and Citigroup Capital Korea, with a goal of maximizing synergy in sales efficiency. Citibank Overseas Investment Corporation (COIC), a subsidiary of Citigroup established for Citi's overseas investment, has 100% ownership of the company. In the beginning, the organization will be mainly operated with loan sales forces who formerly worked with Citibank Korea. The mid-to-long term goal, however, is to integrate sales units of all affiliates in consultation with the financial authorities if Citibank Korea and its affiliates come under the umbrella of financial holdings company.

Marking the official launch of the business, CEO Cho said, “We are truly committed to delivering customer value and establishing ourselves a leading player in developing the local financial sales sector.”
