CKI offers “Perfect UPL for Discount” that gives discounts

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea, Inc. (CEO Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) will launch “Perfect UPL(Unsecured Personal Loan) for Discount” on January 19th.

Customers can get loan rate discount just by putting money into their transactional deposit accounts, even for one day.

"Perfect UPL for Discount” offers the benefit of lower loan interest by deducting 30% of the deposit balance from the loan amount, which is subject to interest calculation. To enjoy this offer, the customer can designate up to three demand deposit accounts of his/her own name and also of another person’s, provided that a written consent is acquired from the account-holder.

Until now, loan pricing cut was only available when customers used credit card or opened a regular savings plan. But now this new discount scheme gives such benefit for keeping the extra fund-not enough to pay off the loan but is worth making it work for you-with the bank. A related official of the bank mentioned that this feature can be the best option for customers who have money falling short of paying off their loans but mind not doing anything with the money.

This loan offers varied fee waiver in addition to the rate cut. If customers use CKI banking accounts to pay for their loans, they can benefit from full waiver of fees for using 16 varied banking services such as ATM, phone-banking/Internet banking fund transfer, issuance of cashier’s check, re-issuance of cash advance/debit card, and other.
