서울--(뉴스와이어)--LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in the flat panel display and audio-video devices market, announced that its 50/60 PK950 Plasma TV has been recognized as the “Best Photo TV Display” in the 2010 TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Award.

TIPA, a global organization of photo and imaging magazines, has been honoring excellence in imaging since 1991. Recognized as the premiere prize in the photo and imaging industry, TIPA Award recipients are selected by the association’s editors from around the world. In making their decision, the editors take into consideration factors such as innovation, design and value.

In a statement accompanying the award, TIPA editors said, “The 50/60 PK950 offers broadband connectivity and uses the latest technology for high-end picture quality – both still and moving.
