Enablence Builds International Sales Momentum in Q4

- Millions of dollars in new and repeat business comes from all regions

오타와, 온타리오--(뉴스와이어)--Enablence Technologies Inc. (“Enablence” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE: ENA), a leading supplier of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) equipment for triple-play residential and business services and optical components and subsystems for access, metro and long-haul markets, continued to derive significant orders from new and existing customers in the fourth quarter ended April 30, in all geographical markets outside North America.

“Our TRIDENT7 continues to prove itself as the platform of choice for service providers and network operators looking for the right combination of features and affordability to provide the bandwidth-hungry services their residential and business subscribers demand,” said Tim Thorsteinson, CEO of Enablence. “The TRIDENT7 has the horsepower to meet the needs of advanced next-generation networks around the globe to provide triple-play services today and in the future as operators make the move to fiber.”

Enablence's TRIDENT7 is a state-of-the-art IP/Ethernet-based system geared towards large municipal and telco fiber deployments that are overbuilds of existing infrastructure. It is the only platform currently available that provides network operators and open access service providers with the most options by supporting, from a common platform, all three standards for FTTH deployment generally in use - ITU G.984 GPON, IEEE 802.3 GE-PON (EFM PON), and IEEE 802.3 Point-to-Point.

In Europe

-- Ongoing orders in excess of $1.0 million to implement the U.K.'s first residential fibre-based network operating at 100Mb/s, which will connect 66,000 homes in a coastal city in the south of England over the next three years.
-- Over $1 million in new business from a recurring customer in southern Europe that operates as its country's national telecom services provider.
-- Continuing deployments across France to a variety of municipalities with an existing customer that builds advanced telecommunications networks, with shipments during the fiscal year just ended in access of $2.8 million.

In Central and Latin America

-- Additional equipment purchases to support approximately 5,000 customer connections in Brazil from existing customer SuperOnda - a CLEC that continues to expand its triple-play offering in the Rio de Janeiro area to bring advanced voice, video and high-speed data service to 30,000 subscribers.
-- Certified supplier status achieved with Cablevision Argentina, Enablence‘s largest client to date in this region, to roll-out fibre-to-the-business (FTTB) services. Cablevision Argentina is the nation’s
largest cable television provider, with more than 3.2 million subscribers in 96 urban markets across the country.
-- New deployment with existing customer Cable Sula, Honduras' second-largest cable operator, through Honduran reseller partner Teleworks Consulting. Cable Sula is rolling out a new package of bundled telecommunications services to 5,000 businesses in the city of San Pedro Sula.

In Asia-Pacific

-- In India, Enablence is working with a multi-billion-dollar IT and telecom infrastructure provider to build the advanced fiber network that will provide next-generation triple-play services to a planned hill city. Over the next decade, the city will grow in four phases to include about 55,000 residences.
-- In Australia, existing Enablence customer the Pivit Group has placed a new order for GPON equipment to roll out advanced telecommunications services to a major new corporate customer.
-- In New Zealand, Enablence is working with a major power utility serving about 52,000 customers that is expanding beyond its electricity business to roll out fiber-to-the-premises for advanced telecommunications services.

“What's notable about our achievements in the international market during the fourth quarter is that we saw consistently strong gains across the board in all regions,” added Thorsteinson. “These orders from new and existing customers also demonstrate the strength of the TRIDENT7 as a platform of choice in various market verticals that are central to our business development objectives - telecom, cable and public power. Congrats to the tireless efforts of our international sales team.”
