Fresh attempt by Citibank Korea, International ‘Uniform Design Competition’

서울--(뉴스와이어)--Citibank Korea, Inc. (Ha Yung Ku, CEO) will be staging a competition to select uniform design (fall and winter) for female employees in branches nationwide.

Citibank Korea plans to open ‘2010 Citibank Uniform Design Competition’ for providing opportunity to fashion designers to participate in uniform designing and prize of USD20,000 to the first prize winner.

Citibank Korea remarked, “Parsons, San Martins, FIT, MARANGONI, and other world-class fashion schools are invited to the competition, and this contest will be both domestic and international event open to world fashion designers. We are confident that this will provide us an opportunity to build a global, reliable image of Citibank.”

Citibank Korea also commented, “We hope that this design completion serves as a platform for Citibank in providing the best service by instilling pride, dedication and responsibility in our employees.”

Competition will run from June 1 to 30, and the date of final round will be announced early July through the Uniform Competition website (www.citi-uniform.com). Final result will be known in early August.

All winners will receive a certificate of award and a chance to participate in the actual production of uniform. First prize winner will receive USD20,000, second prize winner USD5,000 and third prize winner USD3000 and entry winners will receive USD500 each. Fashion show will be held to select the winner design, where selected employees will be modeling and both bank employees and customers will participate.

This international competition is open to everyone - college students, undergraduate students and general public interested in fashion design. Citibank is also launching promotional activity overseas by each country.

Registration can be done by downloading application form from Uniform Competition website and submitting online or by post mail.
