서울--(뉴스와이어)--Sunnada Communication, China’s leading wireless coverage solutions provider, announced today the company’s debut of China’s first high-efficiency Doherty Transmitter. The milestone was achieved by combining Sunnada’s high-efficiency technique, Doherty with Freescale’s performance-leading RF power laterally diffused MOS (LDMOS) transistors designed for broadcast applications.

The Sunnada DTV transmitter offers significant power savings and highest output power in its class for UHF applications. Not only does it mean critical cost-savings for broadcasters, it fully aligns with China’s go-green goals with the lowest emission of carbon dioxide and lowest power consumption.

Featuring Freescale’s MRF6VP3450H device, the transmitter offers 50 percent higher efficiency than competing UHF TV broadcast solutions while enabling system-level power reductions. Freescale’s MRF6VP3450H delivers more than 450 W peak power at P1dB with high efficiency throughout the UHF broadcast frequency band. Transmitters represent a significant operating cost for TV broadcasters, and a leading contributor to this operating cost is the power consumed by RF power amplifiers.
