Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--There are exclamations of appreciation over exhibits. It is thrilling that exhibits came half a world away remind you of delightful memories of childhood. On the journey to convey world heritage, hence, this thrill is only the beginning to possess the moment of living in a global village.

Culture has power that makes people to hold hands one another and to connect their separated hearts.
If we have more opportunity to meet the culture universally, it would be more apprehensive to perceive close identity between human being living with the same thoughts and emotion.

It is not easy to appreciate cultural diversity at one spotlight, however, a upcoming event is arousing much interest. It will be highlighted with cultural diversity from Africa, Middle East, South America, East Europe, etc.

World Masters Organizing Committee is hosting World Masters Festival 2010 to promote EXPO 2012 Yeosu, Korea successfully and to activate world cultural exchange from Dec. 3 to 5. 2010 World Masters Festival is not only the starting to EXPO 2012 Yeosu, Korea but also is opened to everyone to participate in no matter what race, culture, and knowledge.

About 70 World Masters are participated in performance and exhibition from Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Middle East. Their curriculum vitas are matchless, and they are expected to unfold diversity, creativity, and originality.

Number of World Masters from all over the world gather in Korea; for instance, Féthi Zghonda – Tunisia music master from Arab-Africa, Vrolodymy Filatov – sculpts cycle of spiritual world of kiev Rus from Ukraine, Eugen JAMBOR, Jana JAMBOR couple – re-discovering forgotten ancient technology of gradation used for decoration of jewels from Slovakia, Guilermo Anderson Vaquerano – world famous artist representing Honduras, Marcelo Wong – sculpts in wood, stone, metal, resin, and fiber glass, SAYKAL Ensemble – introducing Uzbek Traditional Melodies, Amandos Akanayev – creation of an original style of Neo-traditionalism, etc.

World Masters Festival 2010 is a contribution to grow world culture and arts developing cultural networks with world masters. This festival seeks a way for universal culture to come in and Korean traditional culture to spread out.

A Few world masters over 70 are introduced below.

<Guillermo Anderson, Honduras>
Guillermo Anderson is one of the top musicians in Central America and have number of fans in Korea as well. His music combines modern sound, urban tune, folk music from Honduras shore with Afro-Caribbean percussions. His performance adds spice of well-known reggae or salsa to traditional Honduras rhythm. He glorifies love, environment, daily like and it awakens significant social issues such as environmental protection, health, and knowledge. He often travels overseas and collects reputation universally and great acclamation.

<Master in Arab-African music, Féthi Zghonda>
Located in geographical condition closed to Europe and North Africa, ancient Tunisia was invaded by another country continuously. As results, Tunisia culture has Arab, Rome, Europe mixed, and it is an advanced country culturally with lots of historic site containing ancient Carthage remains and the ruins of Rome. Féthi Zghonda, master of Tunisia music and violinist, works for culture development in the Culture Ministry. Also, he supervised for the first 6 Tunisia Song Festivals as an executive director of Tunisia National Music Committee from 1986 to 1992. Féthi Zghonda is the great master of Tunisia music and Arab-African music.

<Master of jewel crafts in Slovakia, Eugen JAMBOR, Jana JAMBOR couple>
Eugen Jambor and Jana Jambor couple demonstrate re-discovering forgotten ancient technology of granulation used for decoration of jewels. This technology is used in ancient Etruria, Scythia, Rome, and Greek as well. This couple applies technology of granulation to their own art design achieving recognition of their own work of unique jewel crafts.

<Master in Rosemaling in Norway, Unni Marie Lien>
Unni Marie Lien from Norway is a painter who expresses rosemaling in two different styles, Telemark and Rogaland. She tries to draw interest from young generation by articulating traditional crafts with personal color. She also has produced an official present by herself for Norwegian crown prince couple.

<Music instruments introducing Uzbek traditional melodies SAYKAL Ensemble>
From old times, Uzbekistan has played musical instruments that SAYKAL Ensemble plays. The instruments are used to gather people at events such as wedding ceremony and traditional festival. The member of SAYKAL Ensemble focuses on representing performance with traditional instruments to the public in comfort.
