PALOALTO--(뉴스와이어)--Today Electronic Solutions Associates announces the introduction of the ESA-486AVR industrial PC Motherboard based on the ZF Micro Solutions ZFx86 FailSafe® PC-on-a-Chip. Shipments are scheduled to begin November 15, 2010 starting at $319.00 each at quantity 10.

The ESA-486AVR was designed to fill the void left by the discontinuation of the i80486 and AMD-SC520. Many legacy applications run robust reliable software that is costly to re-write and re-verify. The ESA-486AVR allows legacy 286/386/486 software to run with little or no modification or re-verification.

The ESA-486AVR includes the ultra-low power ZFx86™ System-on-Chip, 8MB SDRAM (32MB and 128MB avail.), Silicon Motion graphics controller with 4MB internal memory, 8 ISA slots, one PCI and one mini-PCI slot. It includes 2 Serial & 1 Parallel port, 1 FDD and 2 IDE headers.

The Baby-AT form factor Motherboard is FCC and CE certified, has AT and ATX power connectors, a Speaker, Reset Button, Power LED, HDD LED, Watchdog Timer and GPIO input set up in a standard format along with AT Keyboard connector and PS/2 KB & mouse headers. There is a bootable CompactFlash connector on board that uses no extra memory addresses.

The software included with each board is the ZF embedded Phoenix BIOS and a DR-DOS 7.0 license which eliminates additional licensing costs or porting.
