- Ipsos Integrates Asia Pacific Under Lifeng Liu & David Richardson

서울--(뉴스와이어)--Ipsos has named a new management team in Asia Pacific, led by Lifeng Liu, the new CEO of Ipsos Asia Pacific and by David Richardson, who has been newly appointed to Managing Director of Asia Pacific. Liu and Richardson will lead the rapidly growing Ipsos businesses across the region including India, Southeast Asia, Australia, Japan, Korea and Greater China.

Lifeng Liu, the founder of the Chinese MR company FAMS, acquired by Ipsos in 2003, was first acting as the Country Manager of Ipsos in China, and, since October 2007, as Regional Manager of Greater China where he led Ipsos to grow into the largest survey based research firm in China. In his new role as CEO of Asia Pacific, Liu also becomes a member of the Executive Committee of Ipsos’ Management Board, reporting to Group CEO, Didier Truchot.

David Richardson, with 25 years of marketing research experience in Asia Pacific, David joined Ipsos in 2009 as CEO of Ipsos in North East Asia. Reporting to Lifeng, David will focus on co-driving and executing both strategies and plans as well as the day-to-day operational management of all the countries within the region. He will help to support Lifeng’s aim of developing Ipsos into a market leader across all of the Asia Pacific region.

Alick Zhou is promoted to CEO of Greater China, reporting to Lifeng. Helen Lee is promoted to Managing Director, Greater China, reporting to Alick. Alick and Helen have been key leaders in the development of Ipsos for more than ten years and their appointments will further strengthen Ipsos in Greater China.

Greater Emphasis on the AAI Region (Australia, ASEAN, India)
As a result of the growth of Ipsos in the AAI region and in recognition of the importance of Australia and India as well as South East Asia, each area will now be treated as their own sub-region and will work directly with Lifeng and David.

South East Asia will be led by Rodrigo Toni, who was previously CEO of Ipsos in AAI (Australia, the ASEAN countries and India.) He will now act as the CEO of Ipsos in South East Asia and as the Managing Director of Singapore, reporting directly to Lifeng.

Ipsos Australia will be led by Hugh Amoyal who as CEO for the past two years has effectively integrated the different Ipsos businesses, he will now report directly to Lifeng.

By reflecting on the new structure and with a stronger emphasis being placed by Ipsos on India a new CEO for India will soon be announced.

Former Asia Pacific CEO Henri Wallard, who remains a Deputy CEO of Ipsos worldwide, will now focus on his existing role as Chairman of Ipsos Loyalty, and on leading Ipsos Public Affairs and Ipsos Media CT.
