Dr. Jaerock Lee's books boomed in Seoul Book Fair
More than five hundred seventy publishing companies from 23 countries including France, Germany, and Italy participated in the book fair. The kinds of books introduced by them were varied ranging from children's literature, human sociology, literature, religion, to philosophy and the arts.
The five-day event was filled with diverse special exhibitions, seminars, and events on a variety of themes in today’s international publishing industry.
One of the growing trends in the book market is the e-book. The e-book market has drastically increased recently with the development of IT devices. The book fair organizing committee displayed about 600 e-books and articles through 70 electronic reading devices including tablet PCs and smart phones in “E-SQUARE”. Especially, evangelical Christian author Dr. Jaerock Lee‘s e-books including ’The Message of the Cross‘ and ’Heaven' were featured in the “E-SQUARE”.
As well as, Lee‘s 62 Korean titles and its translations into 25 different languages were exhibited in the Urim Books booth. The booth specialized Lee’s books and was decorated aiming at introducing the faithful life and the ministry of Dr. Lee who met the living God while he was afflicted with disease. He received healing and was called as a servant of the Lord. He has since spread the holiness gospel filled with life and has awakened many souls with the power of the Holy Spirit.
One of guests from Thailand told “I'm really excited to find the Thai translated books here in Korea, and I thank God to find this ministry”.
More than 3,000 visited the booth and browsed Lee's paperback books and e-books, the Urim spokesman told.
Urim Books discussed the matter of publication and distribution of Dr. Jaerock Lee's books with many publishers from USA, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Africa etc.
Author Dr. Jaerock Lee, senior pastor of the 120,000 member Manmin Central Church in Seoul, was named as one of the top 10 most influential Christian leaders in both 2009 and 2010 by In Victory (www.invictory.org), a leading Christian portal site in Russian-speaking countries and the Christian Telegraph, a Christian portal site in English-speaking countries. He received the US President's Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama in October 2010.
