Citicard to Join hands with Auction and The Class Hyosung in ‘Mercedes-Benz’ Online Marketing

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea (CEO, YK Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) signed business alliance with The Class Hyosung(CEO, JC Park) an official dealer of Mercedes-Benz and Auction (www.auction.co.kr), a leading online marketplace in Korea, and announced that it will launch a joint online marketing event for ‘Mercedes-Benz’, which is unprecedented for local online malls, starting from April 9th, 2012.

In this event, Citibank offers in partnership with Auction in total of four models of Mercedes-Benz, and they are C200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY Avantgarde’, ‘C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY’, ‘E300 Elegance’, and ‘GLK220 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY’. For a Citicard holder (excl. Citi BC, corporate card) who purchases any of these models at Auction, 12-month free EPP for the down payment, a lifetime free coupon for engine oil & filter and ‘Mercedes-Benz’ Collection Package will be provided.

The amount of down payment for the purchase, which ranges from KRW3MM to KRW25MM depending on a model, can be set by a buyer up to 40% of the car price, and must be paid with Citicard. For this joint marketing event, the bank will offer prompt issuance of card, 12-month EPP and credit line increase via ‘Citicard Platinum Call Center (1566-1001)’ for Mercedes-Benz customers.

As part of this event, Citicard will also offer a huge discount at Auction and G Market.

For anyone who pays with Citicard at Auction by the end of April, a 25% discount coupon (up to KRW30,000 coupon for all; once per ID) will be given on weekends for the purchase of baby goods/beauty/fashion accessories items. Also, 10% discount coupon (up to KRW3,000; 300 lucky draws; once per ID and for the whole event period) will be provided regardless of day during the event period. Plus, 12-month free EPP will be provided as well (2-4months of free EPP for the purchase of KRW50,000 or more; 5-12months for KRW300,000 or more).

Likewise, G Market, another leading online market place, will offer 25% discount coupon (up to KRW30,000 coupon for all; once per ID) on weekends for the purchase of furniture/bedding/interior items, and 10% coupon (up to KRW3,000; 300 lucky draws; once per ID and for the whole event period) for the purchase made either on weekdays or weekends.
