The research on lactic acid bacteria from the skin started getting attention as the fact that there were lactic acid bacteria in the skin started circulating in the academia; thereby, boosting the expectation for possible relationship between these lactic acid bacteria and skin health.
In such an atmosphere, Shebah Biotech Inc. was carrying out the study to separate and identify specific lactic acid bacteria in collaboration with one university. And the company has completed the domestic and PCT joint application through finding the bacteria of the Lactobacillus species.

And going forward, the company will focus on carrying out the research project in order to make skin lactic acid bacteria become a global material to lead the industry through developing a variety of products based on this.
