Citibank Korea launches ‘Citi Max Loan’ with max limit of KRW200Million

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea Inc.(CEO Yung-Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) announced that it will launch a new unsecured personal loan Citi Max Loan

Citi Max Loan is available for employees between 24-65 years of age working for eligible companies selected by the bank. The loan amount cap is 2 times the annual income, up to KRW 200 Million.

“The needs for debt consolidation with low rate loan are on the rise, whereas the needs for new loans are in the opposite direction. So we designed this new product for the customers in good credit standing,” an officer of the bank explained.

Citi Max Loan provides interest rate discount up to 1.4% per year based on the varied banking transactions such as salary transfer, credit card issuance, subscription to internet banking, and deposit/loan transaction. The lowest applicable interest rate is 4.59%p.a. (as of January 2, 2013).

The bank also offers the benefit of 100% waiver of 16 types of banking transaction fees if Citibank account is designated as payment account for the loan.
