Citibank Korea Launches “Easy Loan” for SME Business Growth
CitiBusiness “Easy Loan” is designed to help SMEs to manage stable finance within 2 years of maturity and to use the timely and efficient credit services in terms of credit limit and interest rate.
In addition, CKI avails the sufficient credit line of up to 75% LTV (up to 65% LTV for aggregated commercial building) in order to support SMEs facing financing difficulties amid the economic downturn. As the tenor of the existing corporate loans is 1 year, customers had to visit the branches and had concerns on the credit extension every year. To relieve such burden of the customers, the Bank now provides the customers with the option to select the maturity of the loan between 1 year and 2 years.
The self-employed and the SMEs with sales of KRW 10bn or less can utilize Easy Loan. The credit limit per company is KRW 500MM. CKI provides preferential interest rate to companies with social responsibility, woman entrepreneurs, taxpayers selected by the National Tax Service and key customers of CKI.
The Bank will continue the promotion for SME credit support until the end of March 2013 by providing the fixed annual rate of 3.96% at minimum to the facility loan with 2 years of tenor as of Feb. 25, 2013.
