Constructions companeis are paying attention to the event as construction and architecture-related materials and new technologies from Gangwon regio will be introduced at the fair.
The fair was successful for the past three years with over ten thousand visitors attending last year, and the event has become a place of promotion for local home, construction and architecture companies. This year, fifteen thousand people are expected to visit at most.
At this year’s fair, Anywood will introduce its new eco-friendly synthetic material called Natural Fiber Composite (NFC). It is a new synthetic material made of rice husks, recycled wood flour, and polymer resins. Compared to existing synthetic woods, it has lower specific gravity thus is lighter; however it has the same strength. It does not corrode or deform like metal or other wood materials, therefore it is getting the limelight as a substitutional material for deck in outdoor structures.
In particular, Anywood’s sound absorbing panels and transparent soundproof panels made of the eco-friendly NFC have been receiving great interest of numerous local government already.
The performance of existing soundproof panels decreased when they are damanged or if the sound absorbing material is contaminated, which ultimately requires full replacement of the panel. However, Anywood’s sound absorbing panels and transparent soundproof panels are detachable therefore can be replaced individually. Thus, the maintenance cost is low. In addition, it can be put together in various ways, and this helps creating beautiful urban landscape.
Anywood has acquired related patents: Light Weight Artificial Wood with Minimum Water Content for Synthetic Wood and its Manufacturing Method (Patent No. 10-1283502) and Synthetic Wood Made of Coal Cinders and its Manufacturing Method (Patent No. 10-1293617).
