SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Wordpress is a tool used to create and manage websites. It is estimated that 1/6th of the websites are created by Wordpress. (Based upon data in the year 2012 September). Worpress is an opensource CSM, which is an opensource blog software. Adding to that, Wordpress supports SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which helps you to stay on top of the list when searched on Google, with no fees. Wordpress is available on all web browsers (Chrome, Safari, etc) with mobile page compatibility.

Behind all these merits, there is no actual guidance for Korean mall makers regarding the payment plug-ins which makes it difficult to use Wordpress. Last month, Mr. Kim Duk-gi published a book called [How to make a shopping mall through Wordpress] to guide Korean mall makers. After fis retirement at a financial institute, Mr. Kim started working on his passion for web design. He is sharing his knowledge about Photoshop, CSS, jQuery, and Wordpress through his blog. As a freelance web designer, he participated as an official interpreter(ID: martian36) and validator of Korean Wordpress, managed the Korean language package for the shopping mall plug-in, Woo commerce plug-in etc.

The recently published books of Mr. Kim are [Introduction to Wordpress], [2012 wiki books], [Make a shopping mall through Wordpress] and he is also managing his blog http://martian36.tistory.com. To promote his book, there will be a seminar at PayGate (www.paygate.net) located at Jamsil, Cafe GokGwaChae. The hosts are Mr. Kim himself, Planet Eight, Lee Dong San CTO of PayGate. Wordpress characteristics, extensions, the use of payment plug-in, currently in-business malls, PayGate's Wordpress payment module will be discussed.
