PayGate announces PCI-DSS version 2.0 Level 1 compliant

PayGate Co., Ltd. PCI-DSS Version 2.0 Level 1 Compliant issued on 2013 September.
PCI-DSS, via co-operation of Payment Card Industry Visa, Master, JCB, Amex etc, holds its purpose to prevent Personal Credit Card information leakage.
This prevents stores saving Credit Card information and if required, encryption of Card number, name, and expiration date is mandatory. It also requires web service security, application and protocol safety consolidation and user process confirmation.
Lessons learned from the recent personal information leakage, it is meaningful that PayGate is PCI-DSS version 2.0 Level 1 compliant, and the first ever company to have it in Korea.
Since 2008, PayGate went through 250 security check every year by Control Case, and it is renewed every year to keep the finest security level.
