Toshiba Launches Fiber Optic Transmission Modules with Low Power Consumption
- 4 products added to its “TOSLINKTM” line-up
Toshiba : “TOSLINK (TM)” Fiber Optical Transmission Modules
Four new products will be available in horizontal-type and vertical type packages: horizontal-type optical transmitting and receiving modules, TOTX1350(F) and TORX1350(F); and vertical-type optical transmitting and receiving modules, TOTX1350(V,F) and TORX1350(V,F).
Use of the optical transmission modules in industrial devices, control devices, wind and photovoltaic power generation systems and amusement machines will contribute to the realization of high speed, long distance and low consumption current optical communications that conserve energy.
Applications
Transmission of control signals in applications including wind and photovoltaic power generation systems, control devices, amusement machines, battery controllers and various industrial devices

*Transmitting side: IF=6mA (Transmission distance 40m to 100m) / IF=1.5mA (Transmission distance 0.2m to 50m)
*Receiving side: 20mA (max.) / 9mA (typ.)
