Allianz Worldwide Care Enters Life and Disability Market
- New product range includes life, disability, accidental death and dismemberment
The addition of new products means that the company’s clients and brokers can now source multiple insurance options from one insurer, making the purchase of comprehensive health and life insurance solutions simple and straightforward.
Ron Buchan, Chief Executive of Allianz Worldwide Care said: “We can now offer corporate clients and their brokers the convenience of sourcing a range of insurance products from a single insurer. These products are all key elements of an employee benefits package, helping our clients to attract and retain staff. For corporate HR, there are cost benefits as well as efficiencies in terms of the number of relationships they need to manage throughout the year when it comes to incepting and renewing policies and paying premiums.”

The introduction of these new products follows the July 2014 merger of Allianz Worldwide Care Ltd with the international divisions of Allianz France, which was a naturally evolving step due to the similarities of these businesses. The merger has resulted in the creation of a new entity, Allianz Worldwide Care SA, which has a single license to underwrite both health and life insurance and is regulated by the French Regulator. The Dublin office is a branch of the new company, acting as the primary support hub for global operations.
