Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--The Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) is recruiting companies hoping to be housed in a Korea business development center (KBDC) to be set up in New York in November in support of small firms wanting to do business abroad in manufacturing and IT areas.

The New York KBDC would be the 10th one after those in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Chicago in the United States, Tokyo, Japan, Frankfurt, Germany, Beijing and Guangzhou, China, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Companies selected will be available office space of 11.6 square meters at a rent of 150,000 won per month for up to a year with options of renewal depending upon their performances.

They will also be provided a series of support from the SMBA in terms of counseling covering marketing, legal and accounting services, information feeding and marketing network establishment, interpretation with buyers and use of common conference and office supplies.

The SMBA will choose candidates for the KBDC among those intending to establish entities incorporated or branches in the eastern United States.
