TC7766WBG realizes wireless charging times that match or surpass wired charging times, as it triples the received power capability of Toshiba’s current product[3] by increasing the rectified voltage without any change in package size. It is suitable for use in wide range of applications including mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, and industrial devices.

The new IC includes all required functions, including rectifier circuits and controllers needed to construct a standalone wireless power transfer RX system. Toshiba’s original cutting-edge CD-0.13 process realizes a small package and high efficiency, making system integration easy and securing a receiver system with a small footprint.
A wireless receiver system using the new IC is compatible with a 5W transmitter system using Toshiba's 5W transmitter IC “TB6865AFG” [4] which is already in mass production.

In combination with a 15W wireless transmitter system compliant with the Qi v1.2 standard [5] that is under development, the receiver system can receive up to 15W.

Main features

WPC Qi v1.2 compliant
Maximum output power : 15W
Maximum output current : 1.7A
